Indelible This is an interesting story because it’s told from two different time periods…the early courting days of Jeffrey Tolliver and Sara Linton, and the current hostage situation in the small Georgia town police department where Jeffrey is the police chief, and Sara (now his ex-wife) is the town pediatrician and coroner. The story switches back and forth, but you’ll never be confused about which time zone you’re in. Years ago, Jeffrey and Sara stopped at his tiny hometown on their way to a beach get-away. All hell breaks loose when one of Jeffrey’s best friends is accused of murder. Sara learns a lot more about Jeffrey from his other high school friends than she’d ever dreamed of knowing. And Jeffrey figures out who is really responsible for the then-current murder and the skeletal remains found in a nearby cave.
