Adams was the second President of the United States of America. He was President from 1797 until 1801. His Vice-President was Thomas Jefferson. Adams belonged to the Federalist Party.

Had I lived during John Adams’ time, I would have strongly disagreed with many of his views, but I would have never doubted his resolve or integrity. Thus, even when he spoke about policies I could not support, I would have been still and listened with my heart. Adams brought integrity and honor to the bargaining table--two traits that George W. Bush has no knowledge of whatsoever.
