American Ports
The ports were sold behind closed doors without the owners--the American people--having a say in the matter. But not to worry, honest George says his boys checked it out, and it's a good deal for America. Sorry, George, your little dictatorship is over. Once again, we arrive at that point in American politics where it's every scumb-bag for him or herself. While it's hard for me to believe that friends and family of the late Mr. Mohamed Atta, a registered citizen of the United Arab Emirates, would have our best interest at heart, it's kind of like George said, "The port deal is a good one. Most of our ports are near water and the Coast Guard will be watching." This is a case of underestimating the intelligence and resourcefulness of Arab terrorists and overestimating the concern American politicians have for national security. The truth is, they just use this term to hide their lying, stealing and murdering ways. The only reason the port deal fell through is that Bush can't run again and the Capitol Hill gang can. Otherwise, the UAE would now be running American ports. I will give Christian fundamentalists credit for picking George W. (Caligula) Bush as their president. He's a shining example of what they believe and stand for, and I suspect he's well on his way to delivering his quota of souls to his master as did his predecessors Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Benito Mussolini. When he speaks, he lies, and like his father, he does so from fear. Examples of this 'fear' are George H.W. Bush and Al Gore. Al Gore walked away from election 2000 hurt and disappointed, but he walked away with his head held high and with malice towards none. He literally ran to the youth of America to share his experiences with them. On the other hand, Bush and his supporters have taken out their hatred and vengeance on the world after losing to Clinton. Without political power, George H.W. Bush and his accomplices lived in fear and did whatever it took to maintain control of the Republican Party. The right-wing fanatics are a ruthless, dedicated gang with plenty of reasons for fear. The Bush gang is like Osama bin Laden; they have nothing to lose. I know that most Democrats are disenchanted with their party; but trust me, just being disenchanted would be wonderful. I'm Bob Miller, a registered Republican. |
Bob Miller, One of America's most controversial writers
| This personal Vietnam War
diary by Bob Miller, one of Americas most controversial writers, contains graphic
war photos. It's a non-fiction story by a surviving pilot about 192nd Assault Helicopter
pilots who supported the 3-506th and the 173rd Airborne. While there are enough Vietnam
War heartaches in this book, some of the stories are funny. It's a judicious penetrating
record that offers a rare and illuminating glimpse into the lives of the pilots and foot
soldiers living and dieing at LZ Betty in Phan Thiet Vietnam. Considering Miller's recent
speeches to American youth, it's not surprising that military recruiters consider him an
enemy of the people. Bob's reply to the military-industrial complex was, "If I'm an
enemy of the people, what does that make my critics?" |
