False Impression by
Jeffrey Archer
Dr. Anna Petrescu
works for crooked banker Bryce Fenston, evaluating art collections of potential clients
and submitting her findings to his Board. His goal is to rip-off as many wealthy people he
can and stops at nothing to get what he wants
thanks to his hired killer. Anna's goal
is to keep Fenston from getting a certain Van Gogh from an English estate. Could one young
woman really pull this off?
This is a long
story that could have been shorter. If you're an art lover, you might enjoy it and know
something about the alleged great works of art mentioned. This could have been a good
thriller, but it just got bogged down. And why was 9/11 the beginning of the story that
takes place mostly in Europe and has nothing to do with the story?
