Simple Genius by David Baldacci

Sean King and Michelle Maxwell are back in this wild and crazy adventure. After trying to kill herself, Michelle ends up in a psychiatric facility (all of a sudden her problem comes to a head?). Meanwhile, Sean is hired to go to Babbage Town, a truly weird place, to find out if a guy was murdered or really killed himself. Michelle eventually joins him in Babbage Town which is across the river from a super secret CIA facility. Babbage Town is filled with genius level mathematicians and physicists trying to change the world (yeah, right). Sean and Michelle get into all sorts of trouble, including torture; and not many people are who they say they are. And a buried treasure that the infamous CIA didn’t know about in a modern day story? Please.

Yes, this is a rather unbelievable story and the author has written better books. It’s a quick read…but lucky me; I got it from a friend, so I wasn’t out any money.
