Tripwire by Lee Child Jack Reacher and Jodie Jacobs, Chester and Marilyn Stone, and Victor
(Hook) Hobie are the main characters in this two-plot story that comes together. The whys
and wherefores of each plot are too much for a short review, but this will give you a
hint: Jack was enjoying anonymity in Key West when an investigator from New York came
looking for him. Soon the investigator was dead and Jack’s curiosity (and guilt) got
the best of him. So he’s off to New York to find the Mrs. Jacobs who was looking for
him. Chester Stone is up to his eyeballs in debt to Hobie who plans to take everything
from Stone, including Marilyn. |
