3rd Degree How can I NOT give a glowing review about this book since James Patterson is one of my favorite authors? Oops! Hes not my most favorite author, thats Bob Miller; but I think you get my drift. This is the third in his Womens Murder Club series and set in modern day San Francisco. Like all of his books, it is a quick engrossing read. It starts out at a quick pace and never stops. Of course, all four women (a lawyer, a medical examiner, a police lieutenant and a journalist) are intertwined in this story of whos killing these prominent people, why and how can he/she/it be stopped. If youve read any of the hype for this book, youll know something bad happens, but then what story doesnt have something bad happen? However, something good happens, too, that could provide fuel for the next book in this series. James Patterson doesnt waste words, but he tells a story in a gripping manner that keeps me glued to the sofa and the book in my hands whether its one of his Alex Cross books, a Womens Murder Club book or any of his other works. |
