Predator This is a first! I have no way to describe this particular book as other than bizarre. There are several concurrent subplots, but you won’t get lost. Murders in Florida; disposal sites in Massachusetts. Is there any connection? This is, of course, a Kay Scarpetta story, and she is joined by Benton Wesley, Pete Marino and her niece, Lucy. There are assorted other characters including a deranged murderer being studied by Benton, a less-than-honorable doctor in the fellowship program Kay is running, and nutcase on the loose named Hog. This was a fairly quick read since I wanted to know who was doing what, and there’s plenty of unanswered questions to fill another book or two. I’ll be waiting. |
