| A Deep, Deadly Americans delight in
reading and talking about how our ragtag army drove the bloody imperialistic British out
of the Colonies. Don't know why, but we seldom mention the help the French gave us. But
that would needlessly dilute the glory. Ask most Americans and they'll say if it weren't
for us, the British would be speaking German. The truth is if it hadn't been for a handful
of British Bulldogs and the French underground, who took the fight to the Nazi's, giving
the world time to wake up, we might all be fluent in German. I can't help feeling
compassion for the German people. After all these years, it's still got to hurt being
reminded about Hitler on a daily basis. I sure hate hearing about Bush's diabolical
